Cialis is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and certain symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). It is also available under the generic name tadalafil. Like Viagra, Cialis belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, and it works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.
